#Impacts

  1. University of Toronto Transfusion Camp is currently running its 5 th year. Since 2012, there have been on average 50-80 trainees from the UofT who have participated in Transfusion Camp. In 2015-2016, Transfusion Camp expanded to include University of Ottawa as a pilot site. For the 2016-2017 academic year, 135 postgraduate trainees attended Day 1 of Transfusion camp: 53 at UofT, 9 at McMaster University, 4 at University of Ottawa, 12 at Queen’s University, 6 at Dalhousie University, 10 at University of Saskatchewan, 30 at University of British Columbia and 11 at Oxford University in the UK.
  2. University of Toronto Transfusion Medicine Training Program has trained at least one postgraduate trainee in the program each year in the past 5 years (Lieberman L, Alam A, Latour C, Lemay A, Yan M).
